Questions families often ask

Straightforward answers about costs, visas, travel and how we work. If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp.

Costs depend on the hospital, the treatment and how long you stay, so we cannot quote figures on this website. Once we have sent your enquiry, the hospital provides a written estimate for the treatment itself. We then help you understand what the estimate covers and plan for the other costs: visas, flights, accommodation, food and local transport.

We charge a coordination fee for our services, agreed with you in writing before any work begins. We are transparent about this fee and will tell you if a hospital pays us a referral fee, so you can make an informed decision. We never mark up hospital bills.

Most patients travelling from Tanzania apply online for India's e-Medical visa, which is issued for treatment at recognised hospitals and allows multiple entries within its validity period. Up to two family members can apply for an e-Medical Attendant visa linked to the patient's visa. You will need a passport valid for at least six months, a photograph and a letter from the treating hospital. We guide you through the application, but visa decisions are made by the Indian authorities and rules can change, so we always check the current requirements with you.

Yes. Most patients travel with at least one companion, and hospitals usually expect it. We help arrange the attendant visa, book accommodation suitable for both of you and, where the hospital offers it, arrange for your companion to stay with you during admission.

Typically: your recent medical reports, scans and test results; a referral or summary letter from your doctor; a passport valid for at least six months; passport-size photographs; and proof of funds if the visa office requests it. We give you a checklist tailored to your hospital and destination, and help you organise everything before you apply.

Before you leave the hospital, we help make sure you have your discharge summary, prescriptions and follow-up instructions. Back in Tanzania, we can help you send follow-up reports to the hospital and arrange video consultations where the hospital offers them. Ongoing medical care at home is provided by your local doctors.

No. We are coordinators, not medical professionals. We gather information from hospitals so that you, your family and your doctor can decide. We never guarantee treatment outcomes.

It varies. Hospitals usually reply to an enquiry within a few working days, e-Medical visas are often processed within a few days of a complete application, and travel can be arranged around your appointment date. Urgent cases can move faster; we will give you a realistic timeline once we know your situation.
